Zoe Nicholson

Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist

Zoe Nicholson - Dietitian

Zoe has a passion for food and one of her key goals in being a dietitian is to help you enjoy all types of food, especially the ones you love, but may avoid because “they’re fattening”. Zoe does not believe you need to eat diet foods or deny yourself and will show you how to manage your health without dieting. This holds true whether you need to lose weight and/or manage a medical condition such as diabetes, high cholesterol or heart disease.

If you do not need to lose weight or have a medical condition, you may be interested in ensuring your eating habits are on the right track, or you may be questioning advice you hear on TV or read in magazines. These are both excellent reasons to sit down with a dietitian and get all the facts straight once and for all.

Zoe holds a special interest in food intolerance and if you experience altered bowel habits, abdominal bloating, reflux or excess wind then you may have food intolerance. Zoe is highly experienced in helping with the identification and management of fructose malabsorption, FODMAP intolerance, food chemical sensitivity (amines, salicylates, glutamates), Coeliac disease and general IBS. Zoe spent 8 years co-ordinating the Melbourne based fructose malabsorption support groups.

Zoe has 9 years experience in private practice.
